This application for the measurement of alternating current and current pulses makes the AHM1-RC the easiest network analyzer to install from SACI, the specialist in Metering in COFME Group.
Toroidal and air core, the Rogowski coil can be opened to be placed around a conductor cable whose current is to be measured. A voltage proportional to the time variation of the current in the cable is induced at the coil terminals. By connecting an integrator to the coil, the desired measurement is obtained.
The Rogowski coil enables measurement without disturbing the circuit under measurement, which is essential in environments such as hospitals, power stations or public power lines. It is flexible: it adapts to the space available in the measurement environment. It has less volume and weight than other types of current transformers, which require a larger secondary winding in large current amplitude measurements. It is faster to install than any other current sensor. It provides accurate measurements in a virtually unlimited current range and, if the winding is correct, is immune to interfering electric fields.
The AHM1-RC is a network analyzer that provides measurements of multiple mains variables and acts as an integrator with Rogowski coils. It has 3 inputs with quick RJ12 connections for coils. SACI offers 3 different coil sizes: 70, 120 and 200 mm in diameter, guaranteeing the versatility of this excellent measurement solution.
The COFME Group consists of eight Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: APOLO, DAISALUX, EGI, FERMAX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA and SOFAMEL.
