Apolo, specialist in fixing systems in COFME Group, has provided its solutions for the installation of cables and pipes at the new headquarters of Banco de Santander in Madrid.
Energy efficiency has been the main objective in the design of the building. Located on Juan Ignacio Luca de Tena street in the San Blas neighborhood, it is made up of four interconnected modules whose unique enclosure guarantees thermal and acoustic bridge breakage. The building has four floors for offices (45,000 sqm) and four basements for 1,600 parking spaces (78,000 sqm).
The electrical cables in the building have been installed using the advantages of speed (one fixing per second) and safety provided by AGII gas nailers from APOLO. In addition to NOKE M6 metallic clamps for electrical cables, which are easily pre-installed, APOLO has provided CE SAPK type-approved solutions for fastening pipes to the ceiling.
The set of APOLO tools and fixings has allowed to facilitate enormously the installation guaranteeing the maximum speed and safety, essential in constructions of this magnitude.
The COFME Group consists of eight Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: APOLO, DAISALUX, EGI, FERMAX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA and SOFAMEL.
