CELO Fixings, COFME’s specialist in Fixing Systems, has developed the optimal solution for Companies working with composite wood.
Phenolic is a material widely used in construction: facades, points of sale or gyms, are some examples of its multiple applications. However, there was no specific solution for its correct fixation without the material suffers. Commonly used screws (sheet metal thread, wood screws, etc.) are very aggressive solutions for phenolic material.
CELO Fixings has created the range of screws for phenolics FEC/FEP designed for optimum work with phenolic and waterproof compacted wood, which guarantees optimum performance and that the composite does not suffer. The references vary according to their diameter to adjust to the density and resistance of the material, in order to generate long-lasting joints.
The new range of screws for phenolics FEC/FEP has been developed together with a composite furniture installer, carrying out several resistance tests: to the material, to the environment, to temperature changes, etc. The positive result of these tests has led to the launch on the market of this innovative solution by CELO Fixings in fasteners for phenolics.
