COFME is working to implement a common strategy with respect to ESG criteria in the group’s companies.
To integrate the vision on these important criteria, COFME has developed a joint working framework based on the following points: aligning strategies, sharing and contrasting criteria and knowledge, and developing common initiatives in the three lines of work.
The acronym “ESG” (Environmental, Social, Governance) refers to the factors that make a company “sustainable” through its social, environmental and governance commitment, without neglecting financial aspects. ESG criteria have grown significantly in importance in recent years and have a direct impact on a company’s ability to receive investment, on its reputation and, ultimately, on the sustainability of the business.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
