The Foundation promotes the conversion of pesetas into euros with altruistic intentions.
COFME has launched a campaign among its staff, collaborators and contacts, for the collection of old pesetas that they may keep for any reason. These old pesetas will be given to the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, which will exchange them at the Bank of Spain for euros. The money obtained will be destined to the research to defeat Alzheimer’s disease, promoted by the Foundation.
The opportunity has arisen as a result of the extension of the deadline for the collection and exchange of pesetas to euros. The new deadline, granted by the Bank of Spain, is extended until June 30, 2021. This action once again endorses COFME’s commitment to the Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes among its goals “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages”.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
