This innovation drive program responds to the various technological challenges in all the group’s companies.
COFME has defined four fundamental pillars to drive innovation: corporate entrepreneurship, startup radar, open innovation and innovation governance.
Through corporate entrepreneurship, teams from the group’s companies, from any department or area, are encouraged to propose ideas for innovation in products and services, or even processes. The culture of innovation thus spreads transversally throughout the organization. The startup radar, already underway, begins with the proposal of the technological challenges faced by each company and the search, at international level, for startups that can respond to these challenges. Open innovation evaluates and promotes “knowledge trips” to technology ecosystems such as Boston, Silicon Valley or London, to meet inspiring people and projects. The governance of innovation coordinates all of the above through an innovation committee, which dynamizes the innovation projects that emerge from the program in coordination with COFME’s management.
With this important program, COFME will create collaborative ties with companies around the world, now in the field of innovation, and remains in its permanent action of continuous improvement and value addition.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
