SACI and SOFAMEL, companies of the COFME group, participate as exhibitors in Middle East Electricity 2018, held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai between 6 and 8 March.
The companies present their main new products: SACI (stand H2-E11) in electrical magnitude measuring systems and SOFAMEL (stand H2-E10) in the area of electrical connection systems and safety solutions for high and medium voltage. They also carry out planned commercial actions within their strategies for the Middle East region.
Sponsored by the Vice-Governor of Dubai and organized by the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the United Arab Emirates, Middle East Electricity is the leading international event for the electricity sector in the Middle East. It brings together government authorities, industry experts and power sector professionals with manufacturers and solution providers. The 2018 edition will host more than 1,500 exhibitors from 66 countries and 24 national pavilions, with an estimated volume of more than 50,000 visitors, including more than 25,000 high-level decision-makers.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is a very interesting market that is expected to grow by $1.68 billion over the next eight years in the smart grids market, accounting for 43 per cent of the total capacity generated in the Greater Middle East and North Africa.
