The consortium of electrical material manufacturers is promoting the reduction of inequalities, in line with the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
COFME has signed an agreement with FEMAREC to manage the selective collection of waste from their offices. FEMAREC is a social action entity that works since 1991 for the social, labor and cultural integration of groups at risk of exclusion, such as people with disabilities.
In 2015, the UN approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with the goal that countries and their societies improve the lives of all, leaving no one behind. This Agenda defines 17 objectives, among which is to guarantee the reduction of the social inequalities suffered by especially vulnerable groups. With the signing of the agreement with FEMAREC, COFME wants to add another facet to its CSR, assuming this important objective of the UN agenda.
The COFME Group consists of eight Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, FERMAX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
