The current pandemic environment has forced a new normality that companies must face with the virtualization of their activities.
The new paradigm forces to realize at a distance what has been developed until now through the face to face contact. The group is investing in state-of-the-art technology while waiting for a return to a more favorable working environment, and resilient organizations are making adaptation their workhorse in order to continue operating.
COFME, according to its DNA of continuous improvement and permanent experimentation of new solutions that provide value, has also adapted its videoconferencing practices, after testing several solutions. Currently the virtualization of contact through video has been widely assumed in various activities.
Firstly, contact with clients. The export department reports that it is easier to get visits through videoconferencing proposals than it was before to arrange a face-to-face contact. The target audience is now much more receptive to this channel. Secondly, the usual communication by videoconference between the 8 companies of the group has been improved in the regular meetings between the members of the different working groups. Thirdly, internal training has also been transferred from the face-to-face environment to video with webinars. The result is a great agility in the performance of these tasks and the optimization of the time invested.
The COFME Group consists of eight Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, FERMAX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
