COFME has carried out a successful prospective action of markets in Lebanon, Syria and Kurdistan, as part of its programme to boost commercial activity in emerging countries by 2019.

The visit to these areas has three objectives that have been successfully met. Firstly, to analyse the standards applicable in these regions, which condition the design of products to meet the requirements of local regulations, especially in electrical engineering. A second objective is framed in the field of partnership: the acquisition of local partners is key in these markets for the efficient introduction of products. The field of prescription is the setting for the third objective: customers and prospects must shape their projects with COFME products. Architectures and engineering reference in the area, especially in Beirut, are the levers for this field of action.
