DAISALUX, COFME’s specialist in emergency lighting, attended the recent Basque Ecodesign Meeting 2020, where it presented the Atria projector.
Held from 26th to 28th February at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao, this event is a showcase for Basque companies that have incorporated environmental criteria into the design and development of their products. Coinciding with this event, the exhibition “20 Years of eco-design Made in Euskadi” was held at the same time.
The event brought together European experts in industrial product design to analyse the transition to a sustainable economy based on solutions that generate a reduced environmental impact.
DAISALUX has been invited to this edition of the event, and in the section on electrical and electronic products it presented Atria, an emergency luminaire using LED technology specially designed for use at great heights and in large interior spaces. Atria is a responsibly manufactured product in accordance with criteria of efficiency and durability that respect the environment.
In fact, Atria presents a reduction of more than 40% in energy consumption compared to a market luminaire in the same fluorescent segment. It is also equipped with LiFePO4 batteries with a life of more than 6 years. Atria’s entire design is environmentally optimized for the distribution and use. It promotes long product life and reuse of parts. It has low energy consumption and low environmental impact materials. It also allows for easy recycling, with partial recovery of materials at the end of its operational lifecycle.
The COFME Group consists of eight Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, FERMAX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
