DAISALUX, COFME’s specialist in emergency lighting, has installed its Atria series spotlights at the Bijloke Music Center in the Belgian city of Ghent.
The Atria series consists of high-performance emergency luminaires. With a light output of up to 2500 lumen, they are specially designed for high heights and large indoor spaces and can be ceiling or wall mounted. They combine specific lenses and aluminized reflectors, ensuring optimum performance in anti-panic lighting and evacuation routes.
These DAISALUX luminaires equip the Center’s concert hall. The limitations of the hall’s original ceiling to support the weight of this new equipment have been overcome by integrating a forged steel structure.
The Bijloke Music Center is an architectural landmark in the old town of Ghent, combining a large 13th century hall with elements of modern architecture. It is the oldest building in the world that has been permanently designed for classical, jazz and contemporary music festivals.
With this solution, DAISALUX once again demonstrates its ability to integrate its solutions into all types of architectural spaces while respecting their artistic character and providing maximum functionality.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
