SODECA, specialist in industrial ventilation and COFME, launches to the market a new pressurization system for stairs, lobbies and escape routes in case of fire.
The new KIT BOXPDS system consists of the BOXPDS control panel, a CJHCH ventilation unit and a Damper kit with built-in optical smoke detector.
The BOXPD KIT guarantees immediacy in the control of the emergency situation, as it is able to regulate in less than 3 seconds both the maximum flow rate in open door situation and the nominal pressure in closed door situation. In this sense, it also facilitates the opening of escape doors, ensuring that 100N are not exceeded.
The quality of the emergency control is provided by its robustness: it automatically regulates the air flow and is able to maintain 50 Pa of overpressure even in the presence of leaks in the installation. It also maintains overpressure (Pressure criteria) and a speed of 0.75 m/s in case of an open door (Airflow criteria) almost immediately.
The system provides safety in all circumstances due to its autonomy: it incorporates a certified power supply with batteries to ensure the power supply of the control equipment in case of mains failure.
It can be integrated into all types of approved installations, as it complies with the EN 12101-6 standard, and has been tested and certified by an accredited external laboratory.
It facilitates user control and monitoring thanks to its external control panel, which allows real-time pressure display, alarm pilots and manual activation of the system. It includes ModBUS RTU port for connection to BMS (Building Management System) and control by DAMPER.
SODECA provides with the BOXPDS KIT a safe, functional, compact and autonomous solution of easy installation and commissioning, which allows not only the action in case of fire but also the preventive maintenance.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
