The company, which belongs to the SODECA group, COFME’s specialist in industrial ventilation, is expanding its production area with new premises in Sant Quirze de Besora (Spain), and 30 new jobs.
The new space, of 6000 sqm, will provide manufacturing solutions in the areas of machines and systems, laser, electronics, portable machines, Smart Factory, programming and systems. The aim is to improve competitiveness and adjustment to market demands.
Productivity will increase through optimization of plant layout, and thanks to significant investments (around 3 million euros), including a 6kW TRUMPF fiber laser, a 170-ton TRUMPF 3-meter press brake, a 50-ton TRUMPF 1-meter press brake and a 400-ton HYDROGARNE press. It is also worth mentioning the TRUMPF-STOPA Automatic Sheet Metal Storage System, which allows the connection of two 6kW lasers (1 fiber laser and 1 CO2 laser). This warehouse (with an investment close to 1 million euros) has a capacity of 900 tons of sheet metal, which it self-manages to feed the machines.
