Project: Located in the centre of the city of Oviedo, the Campoamor theatre is the epicentre of cultural activity. It was founded in 1892 and is internationally known as the venue for the Princess of Asturias Awards. It has undergone several remodelling and updating projects throughout its history. It is fully operational as a centre for theatrical and operatic performances. It also incorporates the Centro de Arte Moderno Ciudad de Oviedo (CAMCO), where modern and avant-garde art exhibitions are periodically held.
