SALICRU, COFME’s specialist in power electronics systems, guarantees the compliance of its UPS with the European Commission Code of Conduct.
The European Commission has considered the strategic importance of UPS in industrial applications, especially in data centers. The EC Code of Conduct (CoC) for UPSs aims to minimize energy consumption (kWh) in Europe by maximizing the energy efficiency. The CoC sets out the basic principles to be followed by UPS manufacturers operating in the EU with respect to their energy efficiency levels.
This CoC applies to UPSs for single-phase and three-phase power supply above 0.05 kW at 230/400 V. Its guidelines cover the performance of UPSs according to their topology and technology (VFD, VI and VFI).
All SALICRU UPS series currently comply with the CoC specifications, being placed in the Elite category, the most demanding category set by this initiative. SALICRU’s latest generation UPSs provide energy efficiency ranging from 96% to 99%.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
