SALICRU launches the new range of UPS with lithium-ion batteries SLC TWIN RT2 LION

SALICRU, COFME’s specialist in power systems, launches the SLC TWIN RT2 LION range, for power ratings between 1000 and 3000 VA and with numerous advantages over traditional solutions.

The new models are equipped with lithium-ion batteries, with longer life than traditional VRLA (valve-regulated lead-acid batteries), allowing up to 10 times more discharge cycles, 4 times less self-discharge and high adaptability to hostile environments, working at 100% up to 40ºC.

This leads to significant savings at the end of the useful life of the UPS (estimated at 10 years) from a somewhat higher initial investment. As their lithium ion batteries have a useful life twice as long as VRLA batteries, longer than the useful life of the UPS, they do not need to be replaced after 4-5 years (VRLA batteries). In addition, their batteries charge four times faster.

The SLC TWIN RT2 LION models are lighter and more compact, making them easier to install and providing greater autonomy thanks to the lower weight and volume of their batteries (high energy density).

In terms of applications, the new UPSs are adaptable to any edge computing environment and have extensive communication options.

The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
