SALICRU, COFME’s power systems specialist, has won a public tender in Peru to supply different series of Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS).
These equipments are destined to several facilities of the National Superintendence of Migration, attached to the Ministry of Interior. The installations are located at border controls at ports and airports, immigration checkpoints and regional headquarters. The SLC ADAPT (4 units) and SLC TWIN RT2 (27 units) will protect the communication electronics located in the connectivity and internet access racks of these facilities.
The Peruvian government is a regular customer of SALICRU, which has won the tender through its subsidiary SALICRU New Energy. Recently, 10 UPS were supplied to the Navy to power artificial respirators for the treatment of Covid patients.
The SLC ADAPT and SLC TWIN RT2 series incorporate online double conversion technology. The former is a UPS with modular solutions, while the latter is a highly advanced solution for continuity in the electrical protection of critical systems.
