SODECA, COFME’s specialist in industrial ventilation, has incorporated Magnelis® sheet metal coating into its ventilation solutions.
Thanks to this technology, the equipment offers high long-term resistance even in the most aggressive environments (high humidity, the presence of contaminants, or corrosive atmospheres). Its resistance is up to three times greater than that of conventional galvanized steel.
The equipment housings, manufactured from steel sheet coated with Magnelis® technology, significantly improve resistance to corrosion and deterioration, both on surfaces and along edges and cut edges. They also eliminate the need for additional paint treatments, simplifying maintenance and helping to reduce the costs associated with maintaining the installation over time.
They also reduce maintenance needs throughout the installation’s service life, thanks to the self-healing properties of the coating on the edges, which minimize the appearance of rust.
This solution is designed for use in highly corrosive environments, in accordance with the requirements established for C5 classification in ISO 12944.
