SOFAMEL, COFME’s safety and connection specialist, launches new grounding and short-circuit equipment for low-voltage switchboards.
When repairing electrical switchboards, it is essential to ensure personal safety during the voltage suppression and restoration processes. Accidental start-up and voltage returns are threats to be prevented. That is why SOFAMEL has launched its new earthing and short-circuiting equipment, ECBT SHUNT-3 and ECBT SHUNT-4, which comply with the IEC 61230 standard.
These equipments contain a complete set of elements: 3 SHUNT insulated clamps for phase short-circuit (model ECBT SHUNT-3) or 4 SHUNT insulated clamps for phase and neutral short-circuit (model ECBT SHUNT-4), 3 insulated copper cables for phase short-circuit, 1 insulated copper cable for earthing, 1 branch-joint connector (4 cables for model ECBT SHUNT-3 or 5 cables for model ECBT SHUNT-4) and 1 TT-38A earthing lathe; all in a metal case that facilitates the transport, storage and protection of the equipment.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
