SOFAMEL, COFME’s safety and connection specialist, presents its new D-Tueri Expert and D-Tueri Pro personal omnidirectional electric field detectors.
The new detectors operate in the medium voltage range in operation and maintenance applications of distribution/transformer stations and aerial power lines. They emit an acoustic signal in the vicinity of an electric field to prevent accidents. Until they move away from the voltage source, the signal does not stop.
They are lightweight devices that guarantee a perfect fit to the operator’s helmet, either internally or externally. They are powered by a lithium-ion battery, and have an IP65 dust and water protection level. They incorporate a flashlight for use in low-light environments. In addition, the operator can always check their status thanks to the self-checking functions of their acoustic signal by means of a test button, and a battery status check system.
The 648 D-Tueri Pro model works in the 7.9kV to 69kV range: detection (acoustic signal) occurs at distances of less than 2m for 7.9kV fields and 5m for 69kV fields. Model 648 D-Tueri Expert works in the 10kV to 66kV range: detection (acoustic signal) occurs at distances less than 1m for 10kV fields and 3m for 66kV fields.
The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
