SOFAMEL presents its IPR-400 phase/rotation indicator

SOFAMEL, COFME’s specialist in safety and connection, launches its IPR-400 phase/rotation indicator for commercial and industrial applications.

It is a durable, lightweight (weight without batteries only 90g) and reliable device for nominal voltage between 120 VAC and 400 VAC. It allows effective testing of phase rotation in all areas where three-phase power is used to supply motors, drives and electrical systems.

The IPR-400 is capable of non-contact detection of the direction of rotation of an electric motor. Simply place the meter on the motor, aligned with the drive shaft. This non-contact test can be performed on both single-phase and three-phase motors. It is also supplied with three types of probe sets for all possible contact measurement applications.

The nominal voltage commonly used in industry for three-phase 4-conductor networks is 400 VAC between phases. This makes the IPR-400 the ideal tool for those who frequently install, repair or maintain three-phase systems or motors, ensuring proper installation in commercial and industrial applications.

The COFME Group consists of seven Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
