DAISALUX, COFME’s emergency lighting specialist, has one of its best examples in the CB Series for the centralised control of groups of emergency luminaires.
The emergency luminaires can be powered either autonomously (one battery for each luminaire) or centrally (a central battery system that supplies all the luminaires). The latter option has the advantage of avoiding individual maintenance of each luminaire when its battery is exhausted. Particularly important in installations with a high number of luminaires or with a large extension, the use of centralised systems for emergency lighting is essential for certain projects. In this area of application, DAISALUX has the CB Series of centralised equipment for monitoring and controlling groups of emergency luminaires.
The CB Series allows the management of each unit on site through an integrated user interface, but it can also be natively integrated into the DaisaTest monitoring system, through a PC Ethernet connection, offering total versatility. Its VRLA batteries require very low ventilation and little maintenance, which makes the equipment installable anywhere and provides it with a long life. A CB Series unit incorporates a fast battery charging process, which completes the optimum design of its power section. It greatly facilitates the integration in the emergency installation thanks to its constructive design, which locates the power inputs and outputs in its upper part. It works with both ELC and non-ELC luminaires, and complies with the EN 50171 standard for centralized power supply systems, offering the most rigorous technical guarantee.
The COFME Group consists of eight Spanish leading manufacturers in the field of electrical equipment: CELO, DAISALUX, FERMAX, SACI, SALICRU, SODECA, SOFAMEL and SOLERA.
